2017 Summary: Ultras GKS Katowice

GKS Katowice Ultras had good shows in their home games with Ruch Chorzów and Stomil Olsztyn during 2017, they also had a very good show in Zabrze in a local derby vs Górnik.

Best away match vs Górnik Zabrze 16.05.2017:

Distance is really short between Katowice and Zabrze. There is no rivalry between the fans, actually they have a friendship for many years. For this match GieKSa fans filled most of the stand behind one of the goals, on the day there were around 2500 fans in their sector including nearly 200 from Banik Ostrava. Official away sector in Zabrze is for 1000-1500 fans. During the match they presented a choreo and big pyro show.

Best home match vs Ruch Chorzów 22.10.2017:

The big derby for GieKSa fans. Hatred between GKS and Ruch is very big, both fans share many cities around upper silesia including Katowice itself, distance between Chorzów and Katowice is only around 6km.

For this match away fans were banned, still GieKSa Ultras put on a good show with several choreos and pyro shows. They also burned many stolen Ruch scarves, tshirts and other colours.
