2017 Summary: Ultras Korona Kielce

Korona Ultras ended the year in good form with a nice show in Zabrze, during the first few months of the year they were boycotting home matches due to some conflict between the club and fans, the boycott ended vs Termalica 22.04.2017.

Best home match vs Wisła Kraków 20.09.2017:

Although the crowd was smaller than normal with this match being played midweek and being a cup match, it was still very interesting as it was the anniversary of the death of Korona fan ‘Małpa’ who was killed by Wisła Kraków hooligans in 2007. During the match all Korona fans in their Ultras sector dressed in black and held a minutes silence at the start of the match while lighting some flares in memory of Małpa, they also had a special banner with Małpa’s flag in the middle reading ‘despite that you’re looking down on us from afar we remember that you are here with us’. Later during the game Korona Ultras burned several Wisła scarves and tshirts on their sector.

Best away match vs Górnik Zabrze 20.10.2017:

Korona fans hired a special train to travel to Zabrze, they came with around 800 fans. During the match Korona Ultras presented a nice choreo with a special banner in English ‘Keep Supporting’.
